ESOC 2019 will address scientists from all over the world (with a particular focus on Europe) in the areas of organic chemistry, catalysis, sustainable chemistry, natural product synthesis, and organic materials. The meeting continues highly successful symposia organized by IAS during the past years, such as the 17th International Congress of Heterocyclic Chemistry in 1999 (approx. 1200 delegates), the 10th Blue Danube Symposium on Heterocyclic Chemistry in 2003 (approx. 500 delegates), the 9th FIGIPAS Meeting in Inorganic Chemistry in 2007 (approx. 400 delegates), the 24th European Colloquium on Heterocyclic Chemistry ECHC in 2010 (approx. 350 delegates), and lately the Biotrans 2015 (approx. 700 delegates).

The conference continues a highly successful series of meetings with recent events to take place in Marseille/France (2013; approx. 800 participants), Lisbon/Portugal (2015; approx. 550 participants) and Cologne/Germany (2017; approx. 650 participants). It has to be mentioned that ESOC 2019 will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of this highly successful conference series, which will motivate an even larger crowd than usual to attend this meeting.

The following profile of participants can be expected for the meeting in Vienna:

Scientific scope: academic as well as industrial research

Origin of participants: primarily Europe, Asia, the Americas

Special interests: state-of-the-art methodology and instrumentation (esp. in analysis, synthesis, purification), laboratory equipment, organic synthesis, computational methods, catalysis, scientific literature, organic building blocks, etc.

The meeting will take place in the modern facilities of Messe Wien, which is one of the main locations for conferences and company fairs in the Vienna metropolitan area. It is located in immediate proximity to the famous recreational area Prater and has excellent connections to the highly developed public transport system of the city (esp. subway). The location provides state-of-the-art facilities for both presentations and exhibitions; professional assistance to equip your booth can be provided upon request.

In addition to the possibilities to extend contacts to your regular customers, a meeting of this size enables the unique chance to present your company to a large number of potential new clients. Therefore, the organizers have taken special care to implement the complete exhibition area into the conference activities (Welcome mixer, coffee breaks, poster sessions) so the communication between exhibitors and participants is maximized. This setting was already very successful at the recent conference Biotrans 2015, which was held at the very same location.

In order to enable maximum effect of your sponsoring representation at the conference website, we would appreciate your rapid response. We would like to emphasize that all packages can be adapted to particular customer demands and we would be happy to also discuss your special ideas to facilitate your impact as sponsor.

Additionally, we want to mention that for the first time a job fair for PhD students and Postdocs will be held during the conference. Companies interested in hiring new employees can get access to the CVs of the candidates participating in the job fair and can carry out interviews on-site. Delivering of booth equipment and other material

Regarding delivering of booth equipment and other material you have two options:

1.) In case you send your equipment with DHL, it can be sent and stored at Messe Wien. The corresponding delivery address is in this case:

2.) In case you use any other shipment service, you have to make sure that the equipment is delivered on July 14th (Sunday) to Messe Wien. Neither we, nor Messe Wien can receive an store shipments delivered prior to July 14th. The address of Messe Wien is:
